Founded in 2019 by Jane Franczak, SerendipPT is a cash-based physical therapy practice dedicated to treating pain and pelvic floor disorders with a personalized touch. With over 33 years of experience in orthopedics and pelvic health—including time at Johns Hopkins and extensive work in the Southwest—Jane returned to Maryland’s Eastern Shore to offer focused, one-on-one care in a quiet, private setting.

Our Unique Approach to Healing

At SerendipPT, the primary treatment is Myofascial Release (MFR), a hands-on technique designed to gently elongate restricted fascial tissue. This approach not only alleviates symptoms but also targets the underlying causes of pain—addressing tightness that can pull with up to 2000 lbs per inch, crush nerves, jam joints, and alter posture. For persistent muscle spasms and chronic discomfort, dry needling is also employed to release stubborn muscle knots, ensuring a comprehensive and lasting solution.

Jane Franczak is a Board Certified Women’s Clinical Specialist—one of the most qualified pelvic floor therapists on the Eastern Shore. She is skilled in identifying and treating pelvic floor issues for men, women, and teens. Whether addressing pregnancy-related concerns, postpartum recovery, incontinence, pelvic pain, nerve discomfort, or prolapse, SerendipPT provides specialized, individualized care in a treatment room that is both private and welcoming.
